February 2020 Wrap Up

February 2020
I usually wait until the month is over to post a monthly wrap up but I am so ready for February to be over that I am posting this now so I can move on to March.

I had a bit of a cancer scare when my mammogram came back requiring further testing.  I spent almost two weeks waiting to find out what was going on which was tough.  The results did finally come in and everything is okay but the wait was horrible.

My daughter did come home for a quick visit which was nice.  I found out how much I owe in taxes which was not nice.  We had some nice days and some snowy days.  I am looking forward to March when my daughter will be home for Spring Break and hopefully warmer weather starts to settle in.

I am linking this post to the Monthly Wrap-Up at Feed Your Fiction Addiction.

  1. Glad to hear you came out okay with the cancer scare. I think that's one of the scariest things that can happen, and especially when you have to wait to hear back.

Your books look good. I'm seriously considering getting Sun Down.

  2. So glad it ended up being a scare though not that you had to worry.
Way to go getting through several books for your challenges.

Wishing you a fab March, Carole!

  3. Thank goodness everything came back fine for you. Very scary though. I hope you have an amazing visit with your daughter. It's always nice to have the kids home. Sorry you have to pay taxes. That's never fun.

  4. I'm so glad that the tests came back ok. All that worry probably gave you grey hairs but at least everything is ok now. Hopefully March will be less stressful for you. Overall your challenges are coming along nicely too!

  5. Ugh I need to get onto taxes soon. I'm so glad you are okay. You had a good reading month. I want to read Golden In Death; I'm like #149 at the library on 1 copy. Here's hoping for a much better March all the way around.

You had a good reading month! I'm so glad the cancer scare was nothing worse than a scare but I'm so sorry you had to go through it.

  7. Yeah, the mammogram scare would have taken the stuffing out of me, too. ?

87% on Netgalley! That's fabulous. I've gotten mine up to 85%. I'm not going to request anything this year, but I'm only going to read three books left over from last year, so my ratio probably won't change. ?

    Here's to a wonderful March. ?✨

  8. Oh wow, I'm so glad that your mammogram came back okay, but that had to have been scary! And waiting two weeks would drive me crazy.

I'm definitely ready for a new month and (hopefully) warmer weather.

The Dark Corners of the Night was a favorite of mine in February too. Love that series.

  9. You managed to get a lot of reading done. Okay, it sounds like February was not the best month for you and I am sorry you had to face all of those things and the cancer scare :/ Yay for your daughters brief visit though!
