September Wrap Up

September 2020
September was interesting.  We opened the month having our house go under contact and ended the month with our house going under another contract.  It has definitely been a month of ups and downs.

As we finished out the month, I did start to feel more normal which is good.  My husband and I have been going non-stop for so long that we are finding it hard to just relax and step back.  My daughter is still away at college but I did get a visit from both daughters during the month.

My reading has been almost non-existent.  I can listen to audiobooks at work and managed to finish 5 during the month but I only finished one book on my Kindle.  Six books in a month is better than I averaged over the summer but nowhere near my normal numbers.  I have started to let myself just read whatever strikes my fancy which seems to be working.  I really need to get exited about books again!

  1. Glad things are settling down just in time for the holiday season. Fingers crossed this sale goes through. I loved All About Us so much. I hope you enjoy it too.

  2. Every time I get rolling something comes along and smacks me upside the head. It's always something. We all do the best we can. I had a great Sept but Oct is falling apart. Maybe I'll catch up another week.

  3. The ups and downs definitely would affect my reading, too. I'll wish you a much more even-keeled October. You got in some good ones.
