March Wrap Up

March 2021
I feel like March passed by in a blur.  During the week, my husband and I went to work, walked the dogs, and did what needed to be done around the house before falling into bed each night.  Our weekends were spent working around the house and doing some things at my mom’s house.  At the end of the month, my daughter came home from college and we were able to have a small BBQ with the family which was nice.
I would have told you that my reading was way down for the month but I ended up reading 11 books.  I am kind of surprised by this number because there were a lot of days that I read next to nothing.  Who knows how many books I could have read if I had been more focused.
Once again, I put a lot of effort into Instagram during the month of March.  I am really enjoying taking photos and it is fun to see how creative some of the other bookstagrammers are.  It is a fun community!  I am ending the month with 899 followers and hope to reach 1,000 before April ends.

  1. I was surprised that it was the end of March, too. Glad you got a nice stack of reading done even though your focus wasn't really on books this month.

    Have a great Easter, Carole!

  2. My March surprised me as well. I really didn't think I would make it, but I ended up surpassing my monthly goal. Anyway, I hope you'll have a fantastic April, Carole. Loving your Instagram pics!

  3. Wow! Your Instagram numbers are great. Good luck getting to 1000. March did speed by. Crazy that it marks a year in lockdown though. When Winnie Met Harry looks adorable. Love the cover.

  4. I feel exactly the same. I was surprised by how many books I read considering there were days without reading, moodiness but then there was the bingeing. I have avoided Instagram so I am glad it is going well for you!

  5. I think 11 books is great. I've tried getting into Instragram but I don't post on there as much as I use Twitter. I just like Twitter better.

  6. To be honest, I absolutely love the effort some of the Bookstagrammers do!! It's just fun sharing books you read there, to be honest. I just looked up the Drowning Kind and I like the sound of it.

  7. My March flew by too. And, like you, I was surprised I read as much as I did. March tends to be a slow reading month for me, but somehow I managed to fit in a decent amount. I think the two poetry books helped. I have been checking out instagram more recently, and while I would love to jump in, it looks like another time suck I cannot afford. LOL If I do post, it won't be pretty prepped phones, I'm afraid. Here's to a great April!

  8. Congrats on almost reaching 1000 followers on Instagram – that's so exciting! March felt similar for me – although sometimes it felt slow, but mostly it was fast? Now that I think about it, I don't really remember what happened. ? Hope you have a lovely April!
