To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before is now a major motion picture streaming on Netflix!

Lara Jean’s love life gets complicated in this New York Times bestselling “lovely, lighthearted romance” (School Library Journal) from the bestselling author of The Summer I Turned Pretty series.

What if all the crushes you ever had found out how you felt about them…all at once?

Sixteen-year-old Lara Jean Song keeps her love letters in a hatbox her mother gave her. They aren’t love letters that anyone else wrote for her; these are ones she’s written. One for every boy she’s ever loved—five in all. When she writes, she pours out her heart and soul and says all the things she would never say in real life, because her letters are for her eyes only. Until the day her secret letters are mailed, and suddenly, Lara Jean’s love life goes from imaginary to out of control.

Why did I add To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before to my bookshelf?

I have no idea how long I have had this book on my shelf. My guess is that I picked it up second-hand somewhere along the line. Then again, my copy looks new so maybe I bought it new. I will have to chalk it up to age-related memory loss. This book is incredibly popular and everyone seems to like so I feel like I should give it a try at some point.

What are your thoughts? Have you read this book?  Would you recommend it to others?

  1. I am fan of this series even if I was not happy with where Han left that last book. Lara Jean won my heart in this book. I hope you get a chance to read it

  2. That trilogy are still on my wish list to read, too. I just haven’t been in the mood for YA Contemporary for a while. LOL, I have similar memory loss going on.

  3. Debbie Haupt

OMG my bookshelves are all neglected, so many books so little time right. This wouldn’t appeal to me because I’m not a fan of the genre but the premise and cover are interesting.
Do you think you’ll eventually get to it?
