October 2021
Time just doesn’t seem to want to slow down and somehow it is already November. Things started feeling like fall this month and I have enjoyed the cooler temperatures. This was a pretty normal month for us. We worked every day and walked the dogs probably 1,000 times. (Okay maybe not quite a 1,000 but it sometimes feels like it.) We celebrated my mom’s birthday and got to see my daughter’s trombone recital.
I am pretty happy with this month’s reading totals. 14 books is a pretty respectable number of books read. Some of the books that I read were pretty short but I also tackled a few longer books so I think it all evens out in the end. I read through the goals that I wrote at the beginning of the year which helped me get focused on cleaning up some of the older review books that I have. On bookstagram, I am trying to have more fun. I dropped out of several engagement groups so that I have fewer things that I am obligated to do and can have some time for fun. I ended the month with 2,011 followers.

How was your month? Do you have any reading or blogging goals for November?
You had a great month! I’ve read Good in Bed…a while ago, but plan to reread it.
Enjoy November!
I’ve felt like time has been flying too. Glad you could go and had a good time at the trombone recital and yay for reading a big stack of good books this month. I will get to that Deanna Raybourn eventually. Way to go sticking to your yearly goals.
Have a great November, Carole!
I commend your dedication to your dogs. They are a lot of work. Glad you are enjoying your IG time and look at your following! Applause, applause.
i’m glad you had a nice October. Mine was a mix of good and not…bad…but sad, I guess. I’m happy those moments are over with, and hopefully November will be a good month. 🙂

oh I feel you, I have no idea why time can’t slow down. I think the only month that felt slow for me was January. Love seeing all the books that you read. I really like seeing a Melissa Foster there.
Hope your month in November is a wonderful one.
14 books is a great reading month. I had a very prolific for me reading month too with 8 books in total. That puts me right on track for keeping my book a week goal!
I’d love to pick your brain a bit on engagement groups sometime. I can understand how they would be helpful in sharing my content more, but I fear it would turn bookstagram into more of a job.
It looks like you are doing great. I’m glad to hear you are trying to have more fun!
Raybourn, so jelly!
I LOVE fall! Good job on the 14 books 🙂
I’ve read a sad ZERO books….. I just didn’t feel like it this month and have been trying to do more stuff that I felt like doing 🙂
October did seem to go by crazy fast! You got some great reading done and I’m so excited to see that the Deanna Raybourn was your favorite of the month. I have that one coming up on my TBR. Hope November is wonderful.
Glad you had a good month. I hope you have an even better November.
