September 2023 Wrap Up

September 2023

How can it already be October?  Seriously, it feels like time just keeps speeding up.  September was another busy month.  Juggling 2 jobs and my responsibilities at home just doesn’t leave a whole lot of time for anything else.  Things finally got back to normal this month.  My dog, Stella, finally hit the 16-week mark after her second ACL surgery during the last week of the month.  We had been sleeping on a mattress on our living room floor for over 6 months because she sleeps with us and couldn’t jump.  We now have a new mattress which we really needed and are sleeping on our bed in our bedroom.  She can also run around in the yard without a leash for the first time since March.

I am doing my best with Instagram.  I am not posting quite as often as I would like but I am still having fun with it.  I am ending the month with 5,947 followers (I post this start for myself so I can track my growth).

I am linking this post to the Monthly Wrap-Up at Feed Your Fiction Addiction.

  1. You’re definitely still killing the Instagram game! Regardless of how frequently you post, I always enjoy checking in on your posts. Plus, you are balancing all of this with your busy work schedule!

  2. You’re doing awesome for all you handle. Instagram is quite active I’ve found but I’m barely into it yet. I got in just 2 days before Threads so it’s like 2 things to understand. I bet Stella is happy!

  3. I’m glad you’re getting a rhythm to it all and that your pooch is back to full movement. Yay for a good reading stats for the month. Looks like you’re staying on top of your NetGalley percentage well and your Instagram follower count is holding strong.

    Have a good October, Carole!

  4. Great month Carole and yes I agree this year is just speeding by. Great news about Stella, I just dropped Princess Pippa off to have her teeth cleaned, it’s her very first procedure of any kind and I’m a nervous wreck, ahhh.
I really liked Fall of Ruin and Wrath too thanks for sharing

  5. It’s seems like I blinked and missed September. There’s been so much going on that I don’t feel like I can stop and enjoy things. I’m hoping October goes a little slower for both of us! I’m glad to hear Stella is doing so much better. I’m horrible at Instagram, while I like to scroll through the feed, I just never remember to post. I’m trying to get better with that and do the whole Blogtober event on insta.

It looks like September was a great reading month for you!

  6. I can’t believe we’re already in October either! I’m so happy to hear Stella has finally healed enough to run around and be able to sleep on a regular bed with you! So stressful to have family have health issues to deal with, even when the family member is of the furry variety!

Looks like you had a great reading month!
