New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Jane DeLeon brings you the sixth book in the New York Times bestselling Ghost-in-Law series.
Jadyn St. James hopes that the two-week quiet period in Mudbug means things in the small bayou town were back to normal…whatever that is. But when a fisherman finds a sunken shrimp boat, and the boat captain is missing, Jadyn wonders if the damage to the boat was caused by a storm, or if something far more nefarious happened.
Colt Bertrand has been fighting his attraction to the sexy game warden since he first laid eyes on her. Once more, their jobs have forced them together, but when a stalker sets his sights on Jadyn, Colt’s emotions launch into overdrive.
Can he protect the bayou beauty and also protect his heart?

Why did I add Chaos in Mudbug to my bookshelf?
I thought that I read this one! I was looking through my Audible account for books I haven’t finished yet and stumbled upon this one. I checked my records, and it looks like I haven’t quite finished this series even though I thought I had. I have enjoyed the first 5 books in the series and plan to put this one next in my queue so I can mark the series complete in 2023!
What are your thoughts? Have you read this book? Would you recommend it?
That’s a new to me one! I feel like I’m mostly aware of what series I need to finish…there are so many I need to start as well! Lol. Hope you’re able to get to this one before the end of the month!
Don’t you hate when you thought you read something and you didn’t? Happened to me this week too. Sounds like this would be a sure thing for you. Hope you enjoy it!
You’re doing such a great job of cleaning up your TBR on Netgalley, Edelwiess and books you own. I get annoyed by cozy mysteries mostly because some of them are ridiculous but I hope this is a good one that works for you.
Lol, I’m the opposite! I often thought I haven’t read a book on my shelf, only to find I had read it and forgotten! It’s great either way, I think, you get to read the book “again” for the first time!
I got the first one as a freebie and planned to get going on that series at some point. Cheering you on to wrapping it up soon, Carole.
Yes! This looks so fun! Definitely one that needs to be on my shelf – where I will then probably ignore it for awhile because that’s how this always works.
