This week’s neglected book

Dashing Lord Harry Traemore is perfectly content to live out his days in the pursuit of pleasure. But when he's named by the Prince Regent as one of society's "Impossible Bachelors," Harry is drafted into a ribald romantic wager. The rules of engagement are scandalously simple: The bachelor whose mistress wins the title of "Most Delectable Companion" gets to remain unmarried. Harry is utterly unconcerned about his status...until his latest lightskirt abandons him.

Enter Lady Molly Fairbanks. Harry's childhood friend— actually, "foe" is more like it—is the most unlikely companion of all. She's attractive but hot-headed, and in no mood for games. Besides, what could the self-indulgent Harry possibly know about what makes a woman delectable? It's time for Molly to teach him a lesson once and for all...but will it lead to "happily ever after"?

Why did I add When Harry Met Molly to my bookshelf?

I bought this ebook in 2011 and still have not read it. That means it has been hiding on my Kindle for 13 years! I don’t think I have read this author yet but I enjoy Historical Romances so I thought it was worth a shot. Plus the title amuses me. The reviews for this book on Goodreads appear to be quite positive so hopefully I can work it in before another 13 years passes by.

What are your thoughts? Have you read this book?  Would you recommend it?

  1. Yeah the books that have been on my TBR pile for over a decade makes me wince! Lol. I blame going to all those RT Conventions. Who can say no to free books?! Lol. Hope you’re able to read this one soon and love it!

  2. I read one from this series on a whim and it was a fun historical rom com. I think I still have a couple old paperbacks from the series I got afterward that I need to read.

  3. This does look really good! This is an author I haven’t heard of but I’ll have to keep an eye out for her books. I hope you enjoy this one!

  4. I haven’t read this one, but the title amuses me, too. I can see it being the kind of impulse buy I would make. 😉 I hope you enjoy the book sooner rather than later!
