This was such a well-done novel! I am the first to admit that I knew next to nothing about the historical figure of Jezebel so I was very interested in picking up this historical fiction story. Sure, I have heard the name thrown around in a derogatory manner during my lifetime but I knew nothing […]
I enjoyed this book quite a lot. Val remembers nothing about her life before she turned 8 years old but after her father’s death, she learns that a lot of things happened in the years that she can no longer recall. She was part of a show called Mister Magic that everyone seems to remember […]
I had a great time with this book! I really enjoyed this author’s debut so I was very excited to give her sophomore novel a try. It didn’t take long before I was hooked by this story. I really liked both Lauren and Asa and thought that they had amazing chemistry together. I found this […]
This was fantastic! I finished this book a couple of days ago and can’t seem to get it out of my mind. David Joy is an exceptional storyteller and I feel that this is a perfect example of his work. If you haven’t read David Joy yet, do yourself a favor and move his books […]
This was really good! This book picks up shortly after the events of the first book so you will definitely want to read the series in order. Sigrid is such a great character and she has a lot of overwhelming situations to deal with in this book and I couldn’t wait to see what she […]
This was really good! I have enjoyed this author’s books in the past so I was excited to get the chance to read her newest novel. Once I started reading, I did not want to stop reading because I just had to know what would happen next. There were plenty of twists and turns worked […]

This was delightful! This is the first time that I have picked up any of Rachel Lynn Solomon’s work but I already consider myself to be a new fan. Once I started reading this book, I did not want to put it down because I was so invested in the story. I loved the humor […]
I loved this book so much! I wanted the world to go away while I was reading this novel so that I could completely lose myself in this story. Clementine is incredibly close to her free-spirited aunt and inherits her aunt’s apartment after her death. This isn’t just a normal New York apartment. This apartment […]
