Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.
My Waiting on Wednesday pick is:

White Hot by Ilona Andrews
Publisher: Avon Books
Publication Date: May 29, 2017

Nevada Baylor has a unique and secret skill—she knows when people are lying—and she’s used that magic (along with plain, hard work) to keep her colorful and close-knit family’s detective agency afloat. But her new case pits her against the shadowy forces that almost destroyed the city of Houston once before, bringing Nevada back into contact with Connor “Mad” Rogan.

Rogan is a billionaire Prime—the highest rank of magic user—and as unreadable as ever, despite Nevada’s “talent.” But there’s no hiding the sparks between them. Now that the stakes are even higher, both professionally and personally, and their foes are unimaginably powerful, Rogan and Nevada will find that nothing burns like ice . . .

Pre-Order:  Amazon | Barnes & Noble | Kobo | BAM!

Why Am I Waiting?

I feel like I have been waiting forever for this book!  I absolutely loved the first book in the series, Burn for Me.  I read that back in October 2014 so the wait for the sequel has been a long one.  I will have plenty of time for a re-read of Burn for Me before this book is released.

What are you waiting for this week?

I think I've only read one book by this pair of authors (aren't they a husband and wife team) but I have Clean Sweep on my Kindle. Hope you love this and sorry you've had to wait so long. I'm trying to get through all of my Penguin First to Read titles right now.
