Books from the Backlog is a fun way to feature some of those neglected books sitting on your bookshelf unread.  If you are anything like me, you might be surprised by some of the unread books hiding in your stacks.

Why did I add Station Eleven to my bookshelf?
This book has been on my tbr list since its release because it sound amazing.  It seems that my friends on Goodreads either love this book or were rather bored with it.  I picked up my copy at a local book fair and it has sat on my shelf since then.  I am working on reading more of my own stuff this year so maybe I can work it in.

What are your thoughts? Have you read this book?  Would you recommend it to others?

    I heard about this one. It caught my fancy, too, but I never got around to adding it. Love your plan to get to the older books on your shelves this year including this one.

    i had this on wishlist for a while but after looking at the reviews I realised that it wouldn't suit me. It sounded too slow for me. Hope you enjoy it if you get to it!

    Yep, I own this one on my Kindle. Nope, I've not read it yet. Are you sure you shouldn't be calling this "Books Barb Hasn't Read Either?"

    Oh I remember when this one came out! I wanted to read it even though it's a bit outside my usual genres! You should definitely give it a try.

    I don't know anything about this one. It sounds odd. From the blurb I wouldn't have picked it up but might be convinced by a review from someone with similar tastes. Anne – Books of My Heart

    Oh my gosh I remember when this came out and was EVERYWHERE. And I never did get to it, even though it's partly set in my area of the country (which always intrigued me- I'm in Michigan and if I remember right it's either partly set in MI or in the "upper Midwest" anyway). But I also heard it's not for everyone (sounds nicer than it's boring lol) so… I don't know!

    I hope it's good if you read it!

    My older sister read this book and absolutely loved it. I also remember seeing a lot of positive reviews when it came out as well. I hope you enjoy it when you read it. It's also on my wishlist for the time being.
