Meet Sarah and David. Sarah and David are like any other couple. They met, they fell in love, but now they're on the verge of divorce. On a routine trip to the marriage counsellor, they notice a few odd things -- the lack of cars on the road, the missing security guard, and the fact that their counsellor, Dr Kelly, is ripping out her previous client's throat.
Meet the zombies. Now, Sarah and David are fighting for survival in the middle of the zombie apocalypse. But just because there are zombies, it doesn't mean your other problems go away. And if the zombies don't eat their brains, they might just kill each other.
This was a lot of fun! It has been a while since I picked up a zombie book so I decided that it was time to finally give this book a try. Zombies plus a nice dose of humor? Yes, please! I liked Sarah and David and appreciated the fact that instead of making goo-goo eyes at each other they were headed for divorce before zombies started showing up. They actually learn about the zombies when their marriage counselor tries to eat them.
This was a rather light read with enough zombie action to keep things interesting. David and Sarah were great characters and I enjoyed seeing their attitudes towards each other shift as they dealt with the crisis they found themselves in. Nothing like a few zombies to save a marriage. While I didn’t find myself laughing out loud, I really enjoyed the humor worked into the story.
I thought that Cassandra Campbell did a wonderful job with the narration. I thought that she did a great job with the various character voices and I thought that she brought just the right amount of emotion to her reading. I hope to pick up the next book in the series very soon.

Ever felt like your office colleagues might actually be zombies? Call ZombieBusters Extermination!
The Zombie Apocalypse has been good to Sarah and David. Their marriage is better than ever. They communicate well, share responsibilities, and they've also started a business. ZombieBusters - for all your zombie extermination needs.
There are lots of zombies and that means lots of customers…Except one of them doesn't want the zombies dead, he wants them alive and ready for experimentation. Mad scientists make for difficult clients and, this time, Sarah and David might have bitten off more than they can chew.
This was fun! I love zombie books and enjoyed the first book in this series so I decided to jump right into the second book. This book picks up shortly after the events of the first book so I would encourage others to read this series in order if at all possible. In this installment, David and Sarah have decided to go into business together, working to exterminate zombies for others.
There really weren’t any big surprises in the story but I had fun watching Sarah and David navigate a world full of zombies. Not to mention the evil scientist and the kid they end up partnered with. I thought that the humor in the story was well done and loved seeing just how much David and Sarah care about each other. There were a few surprises before that really had me worrying if Sarah and David were going to make it.
I listened to the audiobook and thought that Cassandra Campbell did a fantastic job with this story. I love the voices she uses for the characters and thought that she made the story feel even more exciting. She does a great job of delivering the humor of the story as well. I hope to start reading the next book in the series very soon.

Sarah and David have survived the zombie apocalypse. They stood side by side and fought mad scientists, the undead, and even bionic monsters . . . until the unthinkable happened. A zombie bite. But not even that could stop them.
Now, with a possible cure in hand, they're headed east, looking for a safe zone behind the rumored "Wall." They're feeling pretty optimistic. That is, until Dave stops sleeping and starts lifting huge objects.
Eat. Slay. Love. Because they haven't got a prayer.
I enjoyed this one! I am so glad that I finally tackled this series. It was a lighter listen but had enough zombie action to keep my interest at all times. I really appreciated the humor that was worked into the story. I would recommend reading the series in order if at all possible since details from the first two books are frequently referred to in this installment.
In this installment, David and Sarah are trying to make it to the wall that has divided the United States in half. They have some pretty close calls with other survivors and pick up a couple of individuals to help them on their mission along the way. David is having a few side effects from his close call in the previous book that made things extremely interesting.
I listened to the audiobook and thought that Cassandra Campbell did a great job with the story. I really think that she has been the perfect narrator for this series. She really brought the characters to life and helped to make the story even more exciting. I would definitely pick up more books in the series if given the chance.
Now, you’re talking! I think I can handle this type of zombie story. Great review set, Carole!
Oh wow, ok, consider me won over — this sounds like a fun series!
I like zombies and humor. I may have to try this series!
I read the first two books in this series and loved them! They made me laugh so hard sometimes. They’re very fun books. I need to read Eat Slay Love. Thanks for the reminder! 😀
I always wanted to try these back in the day
Oh I did read these when they were translated in French many many years ago. They were fun
I’ve always avoided zombie books but these all look so fun! And a bit different from what I expect from a zombie story. I’ll have to give this series a try.
These sound cool and are going on my audiobook wishlist! I love that you powered through all three.
