A Perfect Evil – This book is the first book in the Maggie O’Dell series which is one of my favorites!

Breaking Creed – This is the first book in the Ryder Creed series which is kind of a spin off of the Maggie O’Dell series. This would be a great choice for any dog lovers (Barb – I am talking to you!) since Ryder Creed handles service dogs so dogs play a huge role in the stories.
or
One False Move – If you want to stay away from any series, this was a great stand alone story.
