Cassie Palmer Series (Books 1-4) by Karen Chance
Series: Cassandra Palmer #1-#4
Publication Date: July 28, 2011
Publisher: Penguin Books
Clairvoyant Cassandra Palmer’s magical powers are a mixed blessing-she may be able to contact spirits but sometimes this can be a whole lot more trouble than it’s worth. Battling with vampires, feys and mages who all seek supremacy, Cassie must use her powers wisely in order to save herself – and the world.
The Cassie Palmer Series includes Touch the Dark, Claimed by Shadow, Embrace the Night and Curse the Dawn.
Why did I add Cassie Palmer Series to my bookshelf?
It looks like I pre-ordered this book bundle for my Kindle back in 2011. Of course, I haven’t read it yet. Why would I ever do that? It doesn’t look like this book bundle is available for purchase at this time but it should give me a pretty good start on a series that I have been wanting to read for a long time.
What are your thoughts? Have you read this book? Would you recommend it to others?
I tried this book many years ago but never finished it. I think it was about not liking a character rather than any issue with writing or plot or anything. It certainly seems popular in the UF world so you'll probably like it!
It's so strange I'm seeing this today! I've never heard of Karen Chance or this series before. But just yesterday a friend posted a review of the ninth book in this series and gave it 5 stars. She LOVES this series and apparently it is wrapping up with the tenth book. So funny I'm seeing the series two days in a row when previously I'd never seen it before. I hope you enjoy this if/when you get to it!
I ended up binging about that many in the series when I first discovered it so it was probably a good bet to grab the bundle. LOL
I recently finished the latest installment and I adore the Dory books that start as a spin-off series right after book four. Lots for you to read. 😉
I'm drawn to stories like this and I'll be checking the series out. It sounds perfect for me!
Someone rec'd Karen Chance to me. I started one Dory book that Sophia Rose mentions and it didn't grab me at the time. But this series is one I am interested in trying. I know if I buy books – it's the kiss of death. I'm more likely to read books with a due date: ARCS and library books. Good luck!

Oh I liked this series!
Read it and say if I should read it 😉
After all these years, I hope it is a series you end up liking. Happy Reading!
Sounds like a good mix of paranormal creatures.
I do that, too! i just ordered 3 of Ali Smith's books even though I haven't read any one of her novels. *facepalm*
I think I have some of this author's books. I really need to go through my shelves some day. Also, I see you're reading Hollow Kingdom. Hope you love it!
love stories like these and it sounds like you jumped on the bundle at the right time

These books are new to me. Thanks for sharing your thoughts about them. ?✨
Yikes that's quite the cover! These sound pretty good! I need to read more urban fantasy. I always seem to like them when I try 'em!
I have heard of this author but haven't read her yet. Beautiful cover though
I think I have a Karen Chance book on my TBR shelf as well. I'm not sure which one though. This does sound good. I think I would like her books if I actually got around to reading them. LOL
