Why did I add The Everlasting to my bookshelf?
I really enjoy Alix Harrow’s writing, so I wanted this book as soon as I saw it. It has almost been a year, and it remains on my tbr pile. One of my co-workers just discovered this author and asked me if I had read this book, so maybe that is a sign that I need to give it a try.
Not too much to report with our house. The buyers are asking us to do two things, which isn’t a big deal as long as I can get the work completed in time. Crossing my fingers that the companies I hired to do the items don’t let me down. Less than 2 weeks until we close and are back down to owning just 1 house.
What are your thoughts? Have you read this book? Would you recommend it?
Oh nice! I think I still have this author’s books on my TBR pile too. Maybe one or two titles? Hope you enjoy it once you get to read it!
That’s exciting about being down to 1 house almost! I have my closing tomorrow and just did a final walk through on my place yesterday. Owner still has some stuff that got left behind at the house, hopefully it will get removed. But in the end if it doesn’t it’s not anything major. So hopefully by the weekend I will be a homeowner! Of course my parents and I want to do some updates before I move in, so I won’t be living there just yet. Still need to do some measuring downstairs where I want to put my library anyway so I can see how many more bookcases I can get! Lol.
Fingers and toes crossed! I have this one on my TBR as well. It looks like a good read!
