NOW A NETFLIX FILM STARRING RYAN GOSLING, CHRIS EVANS, AND ANA DE ARMAS
The first Gray Man novel from #1 New York Times bestselling author Mark Greaney.
To those who lurk in the shadows, he’s known as the Gray Man. He is a legend in the covert realm, moving silently from job to job, accomplishing the impossible and then fading away. And he always hits his target. Always.
But there are forces more lethal than Gentry in the world. Forces like money. And power. And there are men who hold these as the only currency worth fighting for. In their eyes, Gentry has just outlived his usefulness.
But Court Gentry is going to prove that, for him, there’s no gray area between killing for a living and killing to stay alive....
Why did I add The Gray Man to my bookshelf?
I picked this book as a freebie from Audible back in 2013 and I have to admit that I forgot about it. It happens. This has become a rather long-running series that seems to be pretty popular. The reviews appear to be overwhelmingly positive and I noticed that there is a movie adaptation on Netflix featuring Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans. It sounds like it should be worth a try.
What are your thoughts? Have you read this book? Would you recommend it?
Yeah the TBR books that have been on my pile for 10+ years makes me sad. Every time I try to get them something comes up where I need to read something else for some reason. Hence why I’ve a stack of Borders closing sale books that I still haven’t gotten to, plus books from RT conventions…it’s crazy! I wish I didn’t need sleep then I wouldn’t have this problem! Lol. Hope you are able to get to this one soon!
Sounds interested. Don’t know that I would read it but I might check out the Netflix adaptation.
The movie sounds good. I don’t remember this but I like the genre.
I love this type of thriller once I get started, but weirdly, I am often reluctant to pick it up initially.
At you know that if you love it, there are more books in the series by now to enjoy. 🙂
This is the first time I’ve heard of this one.
I have read this one and I liked it. Though I didn’t read any of the books that followed. It has that action/thriller vibe similar to a Jason Bourne movie.
I loved the first book but I wasn”t such a fan of the second one
This looks good! I had to stop getting freebies because even though they looked really good I never ended up reading them!
