Let the darkness rise...in the breathtaking conclusion to award-winning author Abigail Owen’s Dominions series.
King Eidolon has taken everything.
My throne, my Shadowraith, and even my kingdom. I am a queen with no one to rule, and a tattered army that's not even mine. And hope is fading fast.
Now the shadows who once tormented Reven live within me, hissing and wheedling—and enticing me to betray my friends. Which could be deadly for us all. Because without the guy I fell for, without Reven, I am all shadows...and no light.
And the Alignment is almost upon us—the culmination of centuries that have fueled a vengeful king’s festering rage.
We’re outnumbered. We’re underpowered. And even if we could unleash the trapped goddesses, they would destroy the kingdom and everything in it.
The Dominions series is best enjoyed in order.

I really liked this one! I have been a fan of this series from the beginning so I was very excited to dive into this book and see how the trilogy would wrap up. I feel like I have been through a lot with this group of characters at this point and just want things to work out for them. I found this novel to be a fitting and exciting end to the trilogy.
I wasn’t sure how Reven and Meren would work things out. Things look rather dire at the start of this story and the characters seem to be thrown into one impossible situation after another throughout the book. This book had plenty of action to keep things moving along and there were quite a few times that I was worried about the safety of some of my favorite characters. I love the way that Meren has grown over the course of the series into the leader she needs to be in this installment.
Luis Moreno and Samara Naeymi did a fantastic job with the narration of this book. They were both able to bring the story to life through their use of various voices to represent the key characters and by adding just the right amount of emotion to their reading. I thought that their voices complimented each other very nicely and had no problems listening to this book for hours at a time. I am certain that their performance added to my overall enjoyment.
I would not hesitate to recommend this trilogy to others. I would definitely recommend that this trilogy be read in order since each book builds on the events in the previous installment. I found this book to be a fitting end to the trilogy as a whole. I cannot wait to read more of this author’s work in the future.
I received a review copy of this book from Entangled Teen and Recorded Books.
Ooh nice! I was never really sure if this book was actually releasing in November as I think they changed the release date twice on us. Lol. That being said, I guess the publisher wasn’t sending out the physical copies as that’s how I got to read this one! Luckily. I preordered this one during one of the B&N sales as a “just in case” factor! Lol. So now I’m just waiting for that copy to arrive so I can fit it into my schedule, which will most likely be as soon as I possibly can! Likely after I read the review book that I plan to start after my current read! Lol.
Glad to hear that this one was an excellent and fitting end to the series! It fast became a favorite of mine! Nice review!
I need to take a look at book 1
I need to read more fantasy. I’ve read a few this year and loved everything I’ve read. I like the sound of this one and especially am intrigued with how much you enjoyed it. I’ll have to pick this one up.
I love the cover for this one.
You made me curious abobut this one!
