He knows how to score, on and off the ice
Allie Hayes is in crisis mode. With graduation looming, she still doesn’t have the first clue about what she's going to do after college. To make matters worse, she’s nursing a broken heart thanks to the end of her longtime relationship. Wild rebound sex is definitely not the solution to her problems, but gorgeous hockey star Dean Di Laurentis is impossible to resist. Just once, though, because even if her future is uncertain, it sure as heck won’t include the king of one-night stands.
It’ll take more than flashy moves to win her over
Dean always gets what he wants. Girls, grades, girls, recognition, girls…he’s a ladies man, all right, and he’s yet to meet a woman who’s immune to his charms. Until Allie. For one night, the feisty blonde rocked his entire world—and now she wants to be friends? Nope. It’s not over until he says it’s over. Dean is in full-on pursuit, but when life-rocking changes strike, he starts to wonder if maybe it’s time to stop focusing on scoring…and shoot for love.
I loved this book! I don’t know why I waited so long to read this series. I am just glad that I am reading it now because it is so well done. These characters are fabulous and feel so real. I had a great time with Allie and Dean’s story and loved the fact that there were a few surprises along the way. Once I started reading this one, I hated to put it down.
Allie is dealing with a break-up and needs a place to stay so she ends up staying alone with Dean. Dean has a way with the women on campus and has been warned to keep his hands to himself. Allie and Dean end up spending one glorious night together. But is that enough? The more time these two spend together the more that they find out that they have in common.
I adored Dean and Allie together. I thought that they were just perfect for each other. The chemistry between them is amazing and if you are looking for heat, look no further. I really liked getting to know Allie and Dean better. Allie hasn’t had it easy while Dean has led a rather privileged life. I liked seeing Allie let her head down and have a good time with Dean. I liked how they were there for each other and seemed to know exactly what they needed from each other. They do face a pretty big obstacle to their relationship and I thought that it was handled perfectly.
I would highly recommend this book to others. This is the third book in the Off-Campus series but it could be read as a stand-alone. Readers of the series will enjoy seeing some much-loved characters in this book. I had such a good time watching Allie and Dean find their happily ever after. I cannot wait to read more of this fantastic series!
I received a review copy of this book from Bloom Books.

That’s the whole point, right?
I don’t read many books like this one but this does sound like a book that I might like.
I really enjoyed it, Mary!
Dean’s story was so emotional. There was more to that boy than his pretty face.
Dean was awesome! I just adored how he was with Allie.
Yes I loved this series too. Fantastic review!
It was so good!
The premise reminds me just slightly of Love Story but probably with less death! This sounds like a fun read.
I haven’t read Love Story but I sure enjoyed this book!
It took me forever to read the first book and I really enjoyed it. Looks like I’ll have more to love when I get to the rest of the series.
Yes, all of these books have been really good. I cannot wait to read more of this series!
Great review you have here and I am so thrilled that this book worked out so well for you! I also loved how the obstacle in the relationship was handled as well.
I just fell in love with these characters and the issue that they had to overcome just made sense to me.
I need to try this author and this sure looks like the place to start. Wonderful review!
This has been a great series so far! I would start with The Deal which is the first book in the series.
You totally have me wanting to dive back into this series, Carole! I read the first book years ago and never continued. I need to change that!
I am really enjoying the series. If you liked the first book, I think that you would like the others in the series. I am planning on reading the next book in just a week or two.
