Why did I add A Flicker in the Dark to my bookshelf?

I bought a copy of this book shortly after it was released from my Book of the Month Club. I have read other books written by this author and really enjoy her writing, so I think it is a good bet. I host a Thriller book club at my library, and this will be our book for June, so I will definitely be reading it. The ratings on Goodreads are good for this book. I just hope that the members of my book group end up enjoying it.
