Hannah Swensen already has her hands full, between dodging her mother's attempts to marry her off, and running Lake Eden, Minnesota's most popular bakery, The Cookie Jar. But when the Cozy Cow Dairy's beloved deliveryman is found murdered behind Hannah's bakery with her famous Chocolate Chip Crunchies scattered around him, Hannah sets out to track down a killer. The more Hannah snoops, the more suspects turn up. This is one murder that's starting to leave a very bad taste in Hannah's mouth, and if she doesn't watch her back, her sweet life may get burned to a crisp.
Why did I add Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder to my bookshelf?
According to my records, I picked this book up in December 2010. I caught it on sale for just $0.88, which would have been a great deal if I actually was going to read the book. It is a long-running, popular series, and I have a feeling that I will enjoy it when I do get the chance to read it. Hopefully, I can make that happen before another 15 years pass by.
What are your thoughts? Have you read this book? Would you recommend it?

My mom is really into this book series – she’s even started watching the adaptation. I hope you enjoy it!
Oh nice! I do remember seeing this author’s books around a lot! I hope you’re able to read this one day soon!
I read many of these and even tried some of the recipes. It’s based in MN and I lived there. But they got repetitive after awhile. It has a mild reverse harem feel without sex involved. Reading a few was good though.
Nope, haven’t read this one.
This was a fun mystery. In fact, I read several books in this series. But I got tired of the neverending love triangle, so eventually quit the series. But the first ones are very fun…and the included recipes are very yummy. 😀
Cozy is always fun
