Stacking the Shelves #30

Posted July 23, 2016 by Carole in Stacking the Shelves / 11 Comments

I am really excited to participate in Stacking the Shelves, a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews
I took a few days away from blogging this week.  We had a really busy week planned and I just needed one less thing on my to do list.  I was able to really enjoy curling up with a good book during my break and I spent a lot of time playing with the puppies.

Digital Books

The Masked City by Genevieve Cogman (NetGalley)
IQ by Joe Ide (NetGalley)
When All the Girls Have Gone by Jayne Ann Krentz (NetGalley)
Shadow Falling by Rebecca Zanetti (NetGalley)
Land of Careful Shadows by Suzanne Chazin (NetGalley)

As you can see, I went a little crazy at NetGalley this week.  I featured The Masked City and Shadow Falling in my Waiting on Wednesday posts earlier this year so I am thrilled to get early copies of both books.  I really enjoyed the Jayne Ann Krentz’s last release so I am hopeful that this one will be just as good.  I am a sucker for a good mystery so I couldn’t resist IQ and Land of Careful Shadows.

What books do you add to your shelves this week?
Let me know in the comments and be sure to leave a link to your own STS post!

  1. My STS this week is mostly urban fantasy with a minor touch of zombie and dinosaur! Hope you enjoyed your blogging break and got some good reading done!

  2. I hope you've enjoyed your time off even though you were busy. Great mix of books you've stacked this week! I hope you'll enjoy reading them. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Have a great weekend!

  3. I got the Jayne Ann Krentz and I'm so excited! I always enjoy her books. The Masked City looks good too though I want to read The Invisible Library first. Have a great week!

  4. The Masked City looks like so much fun! But I will need to catch up by reading the first book. Kick-ass librarians… Love it! Have a blast reading this book.

  5. Great haul and playing with puppies is always fun. I can't wait to get lost in The Masked City. I love the characters so much. Have a wonderful week.

  6. I have The Invisible Library but have not read it yet! I plan on binge-reading the series. I'm curious about the Zanetti book, because her romance novels are usually very good. ๐Ÿ˜€ I hope you enjoy all of your new books, Carole!

    Have a lovely week. =)
