My Life
This post should have gone up last week! I am so sorry for the delay. I will catch up this week and next in next week’s post!
.Oops, I forgot to post last week! To be fair, I realized that I was getting sick on Sunday and wasn’t quite myself the night before either. I am still a bit under the weather and have been dragging for the past week.
This morning, my husband and I, along with a friend from work, completed a 5k. I felt like my time was decent and I did it while not feeling 100% so I will take it as a win. We finally have enough of our basement destroyed so that we can have the work done to keep the water out in the future. It is hard to look at our destroyed basement and remember how nice it looked this time last year. It will be a long journey before it looks good again.
We haven’t really done much else. We went to see How to Train Your Dragon and Elio two weekends ago, and F1 The Movie last weekend. We might try to see the new Jurassic Park movie today, depending on how I’m feeling later. I have also spent more time than I should have playing with my new switch. I am only 5 years late to Animal Crossing, but am having a good time with it.

What I’m Reading
I finished two books during the past 2 weeks. I really enjoyed the Graphic Audio versions of Clean Sweep and Sweep in Peace by Ilona Andrews and look forward to reading more of the series.
I have a bunch of books on my currently reading shelf on Goodreads, but the only book that I really paid any attention to recently is One Fell Sweep by Ilona Andrews, and I am amazed by just how much the Graphic Audio production adds to the experience.

Oh no! Sorry to hear you’re still not feeling well! But congrats on completing the 5K! That’s awesome either way! Ugh, sorry to hear about the basement problems persisting still. Hopefully it gets taken care of soon. Makes me worried about when I find my house as to the basement’s condition as that’s where I want to setup my library room. I’m planning things in my head already! Lol.
Nice new read! That’s a new to me ones but I have seen this author floating around a lot! Hope you love it once you get to read it!
