Stacking the Shelves #50

I am really excited to participate in Stacking the Shelves, a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews
Happy New Year!  I am really looking forward to a nice long weekend with my family.  I didn’t have any plans for New Year’s Eve but I think that I just gave my 16 year old daughter permission to have a slumber party at our house so things may not be so quiet after all around here.

Digital Books
This Savage Song by Victoria Schwab (Kindle Purchase)
Empire of Storms by Sarah J. Maas (Kindle Purchase)
A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas (Kindle Purchase)
All the Ugly and Wonderful Things by Bryn Greenwood (Kindle Purchase)
A Gathering of Shadows by V.E. Schwab (Kindle Purchase)
A Torch Against the Night by Sabaa Tahir (Kindle Purchase)
The Last One by Alexandra Oliva (Kindle Purchase)
Sisters One, Two, Three by Nancy Star (Kindle First Pick)
I went on another book buying spree this week.  There have been so many great sales on Amazon this week and I just could not resist these books.  I am most excited about All the Ugly and Wonderful Things and hope to read that one very soon.  I am not really sure when I might read the others since most of them are part of a series and I haven’t read the earlier books yet.  I think that I like to collect books almost as much as I like to read them.

What books do you add to your shelves this week?
Let me know in the comments and be sure to leave a link to your own STS post!

  1. Happy New Year to you and your family, Carole! I'm looking forward to spending the long weekend with my family as well and to reading. I'm back to my regular blogging schedule, so you'll be seeing lots of me. LOL.

    Happy reading!

  2. I hope to read The Last One at some point next year and I hope to be reading a few from my lesser genres just to have different genres reviewed on the blog next year. A little more historical, fantasy and sci-fi along with my usual horror, UF and dystopia. Exciting times! Happy New Year!

  3. Ahhh I almost bought This Savage Song this week and I'm so mad that I didn't get it while it was on sale. lol! Hope you have a Happy New Year and good luck in dealing with a house full of 16 year olds. Eeek!! My daughter is only 3 right now and I'm already cringing for the future parties hahaha!

  4. OOh nice! I LOVED This Savage Song and A Torch Against the Night! I STILL need to read ACOMAF though! Hopefully I'll get to it early this year! LOL!

My STS will be up tomorrow, so stop by then if you can!

    Have a GREAT day!

  5. A Gathering of Shadows looks interesting. Ha, I went on a buying spree, too, with my GCs and the sales.

Oh yeah, slumber parties will liven up the New Year's Eve for you.

    Happy New Year, Carole!

  6. Oooo, slumber party! You should have one too! I have minimal NYE plans, but honestly I just want to go to bed early. šŸ˜€ It looks like you cashed in on some sales! I loved AGOS, and while I didn't love TORCH, I thought it was pretty good. Might I recommend checking out The Forgetting by Sharon Cameron? My favorite YA book of the year – and it's on sale. šŸ˜‰ I hope you enjoy all of your new books, Carole!

    Happy New Year. =)

    Check out my STS post!

  7. Happy new year! WOW, amazing haul! I'm dying to read A Torch Against the Night as I LOVED An Ember in the Ashes! *_*

    Enjoy your new books!
