I am really excited to participate in Stacking the Shelves, a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and Reading Reality.

This week was exhausting.  Last Saturday, we spent the day at a band competition where my daughter’s band took third place.  I was so tired that on Sunday I didn’t even want to move.  My daughter called me Monday when the car wouldn’t start so I dealt with that and then had to spend the evening at school for the National Honor Society Initiation ceremony.  On Thursday, I took my daughter to her jazz group which took up my whole evening.  I had planned to use that time to get caught up with some things online but the wifi wouldn’t work.  I even smashed my finger right before I left for work Friday morning.  I barely had the chance to do any reading this week.  I finished one book that was only 244 pages which is pretty short.  It has just been one of those weeks!

I probably didn’t need to add so many review books this week but that all sound so good!  I am really excited about four of these books and cannot wait to start reading them.  I was also auto-approved for Harlequin titles on NetGalley this week which was pretty exciting for me.

The Last Move by Mary Burton (Goodreads Giveaway)

It has been ages since I won anything on Goodreads so I was shocked to get the email that I had won a digital copy of The Last Move.  It showed up in my kindle account immediately which was pretty cool.  I also won a copy of The Summer That Made Us from Kimberly at Caffeinated Reviewer.  I have been wanting to read Robyn Carr for a while so I was pretty excited about getting this book.

And One Last Thing… by Molly Harper (Audible Purchase)
Alice by Christina Henry (Audible Purchase)
I couldn’t resist a few titles from the Audible sales this week.  The Harlan Coben and Molly Harper books were $4.95 each and the Christina Henry book was $2.95.  I have a membership this year so I am stocking up while I have access to all of the great sales.

    You were really busy! Congrats to your daughter though! That must have been awesome! Sorry to hear reading time has been nonexistent. Maybe this week?

      I will really only enter when there are a lot of copies being given away. I have won quite a few in the past but hadn't entered any for a long time until recently. I feel like the kindle giveaways might be easier to win. Maybe?

      I actually seem to do better with keeping up with publishers that I am auto-approved for since I will only grab books that I want to read now or that I am super excited about. It is all the ones I have to request that cause my backlog.

    Congrats to your daughter and the band. I remember how tiring it was when I was in band – games every Friday night and competitions each Saturday. I finally wore down and caught mono. It was fun but it's also hard work. I bet you're proud of her. Sorry the week was so hectic. I know how that can be. Hopefully you have some down time this week!

    That Tomorrow book looks either very sad or very scary. I can't decide which. I'll have to look it up, because it's definitely making me wonder…

    Ah that is a busy week! Lots of new books!! I didn't find anything in the Audible sale which I was bummed about. Congrats on the GR giveaway. They are so hard to win I feel. If I hadn't won once I would think it was a fake lol. Have a great week!
