My Life
This was another calm week at our house. I love calm weeks! I went with my sister and her 3 year old twins to see Disney on Ice last Saturday which was exhausting but I think that the kids had a good time. Other than that it has been the normal cycle of work, walk the dogs, fix dinner, do a few things, then go to bed. Exciting things happen at our house!
Books for Review
Eight Simple Rules for Dating a Dragon by Kerrelyn Sparks (NetGalley)
The Pen is Mightier by J.A. Cipriano (Audiobook Boom)
I was so excited to see Eight Simple Rules for Dating a Dragon posted on NetGalley last week. I have loved the first two books in the series and this is one of my most anticipated reads of the year. I cannot wait to start reading it! I liked the premise of The Pen is Mightier so I decided to request the audiobook when I saw in the weekly Audiobook Boom newsletter. I am about halfway done with it right now and it has been fun so far.
Books Purchased
The Collector by Nora Roberts (Paperback Swap)
Wyoming Tough & Wyoming Fierce by Diana Palmer (Paperback Swap)
The Big Sleep by Raymond Chandler (Paperback Swap)
Wyoming Tough & Wyoming Fierce by Diana Palmer (Paperback Swap)
The Big Sleep by Raymond Chandler (Paperback Swap)
A couple of weeks ago I spent a bunch of my credits on Paperback Swap. I received the rest of the books that I ordered this week. I am not sure when I will get to them but they are waiting for me when I am ready.
Lost Boy by Christina Henry (Audible Purchase)
Missing You by Harlan Coben (Audible Purchase)
You by Caroline Kepnes (Audible Purchase)
I have actually read all three of these books but I love to do audiobook re-reads so I decided to pick these up. Lost Boy was a daily deal while I was able to get Missing You and You in the 2 books for 1 credit sale.

What books do you add to your shelves this week?
Let me know in the comments and be sure to leave a link to your own STS post!
I've had a pile of books from series I've liked so I'm trying to find shelf space for them. Just a flying visit today to everyone as I have 4 olympic events to catch up with!
I hope you have a great time watching the Olympics!
I want to listen to Lost Boy. It looks really good. I hope you enjoy all of your books.

I really enjoyed Lost Boy when I read it last year. I think it will be a good one for an audio re-read.
Calm weeks are the best!! I have heard the You audio is really good. Enjoy and have a great week!
I love a calm week! I read You a couple of years ago and thought it was okay but have been very tempted by the audio so I decided to add it to my collection.
I used to love going to see Disney on Ice! Felt like back then you only saw one Disney movie played out. Though from what my sister told me of past shows, they do something like that, but shorter I guess!
Nice new reads! I LOVED Lost Boy!! You is still one I want to read! I finally own a copy so hopefully one day! LOL! Happy Reading!
My STS will be up tomorrow, so stop by then if you can!
Have a GREAT day!

I really enjoyed Lost Boy when I read it last year as well so I am looking forward to a re-read at some point. I have read You but think I might enjoy it more on audio.
We've had a quiet week here, too. They are lovely. You caught some great sales, there. I've seen good reviews for the Caroline Kepnes' You. It's on my list.
Have a great weekend, Carole!
I liked the second book in You series better than You but I do want to give the audio a try.
I've read Missing You and The Collector– both good for me. You have a great haul of books to catch up on! I just broke down and bought The Great Alone. I really have been looking forward to this.
I read Missing You right around the time it was released and enjoyed it quite a bit. I am looking forward to re-reading it via audio. I haven't read a lot of Nora Roberts but thought that The Collector looked like it would be worth a try. Enjoy The Great Alone! I have heard great things about it!
I've been eyeing Lost Boy just because it sounds fantastic. Also, I need to grab You already. Hidden Bodies has been sitting on my shelf for quite some time now, hahaha.
I hope you'll have another calm week ahead, Carole! ๐

I really enjoyed Lost Boy last year and You was good as well. I am looking forward to trying the audio for both of these books.
Oh hope you get to enjoy YOU, I've heard great things about it. Finally bought myself a copy a couple of months ago hoping to get to it this year
I read You a while ago but do look forward to the audio re-read.
Hope you enjoy all your new goodies! ?
Thanks, Jenea!
I love Kerrelyn Sparks, her books are always so good.
I haven't read a lot of Kerrelyn Sparks yet but I have been loving this series so far.
I am glad everyone enjoyed Disney on Ice. I cannot wait to hear your thoughts on Eight Simple Rules for Dating a Dragon. Enjoy all your new books, and have a great week!
I am really looking forward to Eight Simple Rules for Dating a Dragon. I am so excited to get my hands on that one!
Sounds like you had some fun! You got some really cool books too!! ๐
Thanks, Stormi!
I have lost boy waiting for me. I hope it is great
It is a great book and I liked the narrator's voice on the sample that I listened to.
I love calm weeks too, and that's the kind of week I had too, mostly, which is good ๐ have a great week!
Calm quiet weeks are the best!
I've been wanting to read some noir so The Big Sleep kinda caught my eye! And cry Wolf and Missing You both look good too.
Have a great weekend!!
Cry Wolf and Missing You are both great books. I thought that The Big Sleep was worth a try.
I am so glad that you have grabbed up Eight Simple Rules by Sparks….I just read it and LOVED it. Hope you do as well. ๐

I am really looking forward to Eight Simple Rules. I couldn't believe that is was listed as a Read Now title on NetGalley.
Glad you had a calm week! I always enjoyed calm weeks!

Calm weeks are teh best!
My favorite weeks are the quiet weeks. I am old. I don't need too much excitement. I need sleep. I miss all those fun little kid things, like Disney on Ice. I loved that stuff.
I am old too and I don't need excitement either. It is fun to go with my niece and nephew to events like Disney on Ice but it does make me very glad that I had my kids in my 20s because it is exhausting!
Iโd rather have a calm week than a crazy one. I hope you enjoy your new books!

I love a good calm week!
I heard a lot of things about the YOU book when it first came out, but I guess that hype has died down a little. It's not my kind of read, but a lot of other people enjoyed it. I hope you do too! ๐
I thought You was pretty good but I have heard that the audio is amazing so I thought I would give that a try.
I firmly believe that calm is good. It's been warmer here but still rainy so the dogs STILL aren't getting out much for walks. You know how much I loved Lost Boy so I hope you enjoy your audio reread. The Pen is Mightier does look fun.
We try to walk the dogs every day but I don't go out in the rain. It is slick out today so I didn't take them…they are not happy either.
Disney on Ice sounds like a lot of fun though a bit of a headache in a room! I really enjoyed The Collector by Nora Roberts! It's one I need to reread. The Harlan Coben looks great. Have a great week!
I am looking forward to The Collector so I am happy to hear you enjoyed that one.
SOme interesting ones for you! happy reading!
Thanks, Melliane!
You is one on my radar to read. Must be good if it is on your reread list. Enjoy again.
I actually liked the second book in the You series more than the first but I think that the audio may make a huge difference.
