Meanwhile, Kady’s cousin, Asha, survived the initial BeiTech assault and has joined Kerenza’s ragtag underground resistance. When Rhys—an old flame from Asha’s past—reappears on Kerenza, the two find themselves on opposite sides of the conflict.

My name is Amber Reynolds. There are three things you should know about me:
1. I’m in a coma.
2. My husband doesn’t love me anymore.
3. Sometimes I lie.Amber wakes up in a hospital. She can’t move. She can’t speak. She can’t open her eyes. She can hear everyone around her, but they have no idea. Amber doesn’t remember what happened, but she has a suspicion her husband had something to do with it. Alternating between her paralyzed present, the week before her accident, and a series of childhood diaries from twenty years ago, this brilliant psychological thriller asks: Is something really a lie if you believe it’s the truth?

The autumn morning after sixteen-year-old Audrey Harper loses her virginity, she wakes to a loud, persistent knocking at her front door. Waiting for her are two firemen, there to let her know that the moment she’s been dreading has arrived: the enormous wildfire sweeping through Orange County, California, is now dangerously close to her idyllic gated community of Coto de Caza, and it’s time to evacuate.
Over the course of the next twenty-four hours, as Audrey wrestles with the possibility of losing her family home, she also recalls her early, easy summer days with Brooks, the charming, passionate, but troubled volunteer firefighter who enchants Audrey–and who is just as enthralled by her. But as secrets from Brooks’s dark past come to light, Audrey can’t help but wonder if there’s danger in the pull she feels–both toward this boy, and toward the fire burning in the distance.

This was a good week!
haven't even read Geminae =(
but cool cover this time
I still need to read the second book as well. I hope to get to it soon.
Wow, I see some here I need to check out. I hope by some chance Walmart has Obsidio tonight when I make my weekly stop so I can complete my trilogy.
I pre-ordered Obsidio from Amazon but I won't get it until tomorrow for some reason. I am not ready to read it yet so I guess it isn't a big deal in this case.
I've got Obsidio coming pre-order and I want the new JR Ward, too.
I pre-ordered Obsidio too. I am so far behind with JR Ward but hope to catch up at some point.
I was keen to read the Illuminae series until I saw the format it was in. That kind of put me off. People seem to be enjoying it though.
I do like books told in unique formats. I enjoyed Illuminae but need to read the second book before moving on to this new one.
Obsidio! I need to find a copy of that one.
Aj @ Read All The Things!
I am going to a book signing for Obsidio this weekend. I can't wait!

I do hope to get to that book at some point.
Obsidio has FILLED my Twitter feed today! I'm assuming I need to read the series? Lol.
Do You Dog-ear?
I have only read the first book but I really enjoyed it. I can't wait to get the chance to read Obsidio.
I just finished Let Me Lie the other day, and all I can say is – well done Clare Mackintosh. Lots of good twists, but really, that ending! I am excited to read Obsidio! It's way overdue. Just got my copy yesterday, so I am set.
I have been curious about the new Clare Mackintosh so I am happy to hear that it was well done.
I've heard great things about Nothing Left to Burn! And I've got Obsidio on my shelf – I need to get to that one soon. So many books. Happy reading, Carole!
Have a wonderful weekend. =)
