I hope to spend some time catching up with the blog and reading this weekend.
The Tubman Command by Elizabeth Cobbs (Bookish First)
I was really excited to win a copy of The Tubman Command from Bookish First. It sounds like a really interesting story about an important historical figure.
Three Little Words by Jenny Holiday (Won @ Delighted Reader)
I was really happy that I won a copy of Three Little Words by Jenny Holiday. I have heard great things about this series and I look forward to jumping into this one.
Fated by Benedict Jacka (Audible Purchase)
My reading has been really slow during the month of February and I really wanted to join in on the read-a-long at Books of My Heart so I decided to grab the audio of Fated so I could get it in before the month is over. I already started this one and am enjoying it so far.
I loved season 6 of Game of Thrones! I loved those first couple of episodes at The Wall, The Door (sobs) and the battles!
Yay for benedict jacka! i had book 4 this week! Happy reading!
oh Jazz kid eh? she's got good taste your kid… finally some man and wife time XD
Nice! Hope your daughter has fun! Chicago is a cool place…though I've mostly hung out in Naperville and the other surrounding Andersons' Bookshops! LOL!!
Hope you enjoy your new reads! They are totally new to me ones at that!
My STS will be up tomorrow, so stop by then if you can!
Have a GREAT day!

School trips, I remember those days. I'm sure your daughter will have a great time with all her band mates!
Congrats on the wins and I hope you enjoy them.

I've heard great things about the Bridesmaid series as well! Enjoy your alone time.
Sounds like a nice weekend. I hope you love the Alex Verus books, in fact, I hope I do. So far so good. I wish it would just stop raining here. I was in jazz band in high school and college. I loved it so much. I hope your daughter has as much fun with it as I did. Anne – Books of My Heart
Hope you have a fun weekend, I do like the plot of game of thrones (some scenes are way too violent) so I can't wait for the upcoming season for sure. Such a cliffhanger the last season ended with.
Hope you enjoy Three Little Words, I have heard great things about that series.
I couldn't get into Game of Thrones for some reason. I did try.
Yay for a nice quiet weekend. Just cleared out some downed limbs after our last ice storm, but now I can read. π
Very nice haul there. Yay! I'm always tickled when a book pal can be one of our giveaway winners. Hope you enjoy Three Little Words. Fun, that you're doing Anne's group read.
Have a great week, Carole!
Good luck to your daughter in Chicago. I hope she is having a great time. A weekend with little planned sounds so nice . . . We are cookie booth free this weekend and there are no dance commitments either, so we are taking advantage of that to get some of our errands run that we've been putting off. And Mouse really needs to work on her report for school.
The Tubman Command does sound interesting! I hope you enjoy all your new books, Carole.
Have a wonderful week!
Enjoy your books!
Two book wins! Whoo hoo! I really enjoyed the Bridesmaids series. I hope you like it too.
Very nice wins:) I can't wait for the finale of Game Of Thrones. My son and I keep discussing how we think it will end. Who will win.
Game of Thrones is going to be here SOON! I'm starting to get a bit anxious. π
Having no plans sounds delightful! I love just staying at home and reading!
Three Little Words, and Fated look like something I might like. Congrats on the wins! π
Sounds like a great weekend to me! Hope you enjoyed it.
Sounds like a nice, relaxing weekend.

A normal week sounds nice! I hope your daughter had a good time in Chicago and you and your husband had a good time on your own. The Tubman Command looks interesting and I'll be curious to see what you think of it. Have a great week!
I'm excited to see where the last season of GoT goes. I hope you have a great week.

Sometimes not having plans is the best thing. I am glad you're enjoying catching up with GOT and the time you'll have with your husband. x
