I am really excited to participate in Stacking the Shelves, a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews.
No matter how you look at it – I added a lot of books this week. When you consider that my resolution for 2016 it to catch up on my ARCs, it looks like I really added a lot of books. To be fair, a lot of the ARCs that I added this week were requested that I made before I decided on my resolution. Although, I did grab a couple and requested a few additional titles because I have absolutely no willpower to speak of.

I got Hawke this week, too, Carole, and I can't wait to read it! I'm jealous you got a copy of the newest Mercy Thompson… I hope you'll love it!
Have a fantastic weekend and happy reading.

I am reading the Patricia Briggs book right now. I am about halfway done and I am loving it. I hope to finish it today. I love the Cold Hockey Fury series and I am auto-approved by Loveswept so I just had to grab Hawke as soon as I saw it.
Have a great weekend, Lexxie!
I'm not 100% auto-approved for Loveswept (I can't just download their titles) but they always approve me. I'm so glad you love the Cold Fury Hockey players, too 🙂 They are so hawt!
I know that I am really lucky to be auto-approved by Loveswept. They have some wonderful books. I have a lot of publishers that generally approve me but they haven't auto-approved me yet. I'm still hoping 🙂
I am do with you on the ARCs! A lot came in that I requested before the new year. Still I requested a few more. Some if those freebies look good. I hope you enjoy them all!
I really need to stop looking at NetGalley and Edelweiss but it is so hard to do! I am really pretty quick to grab freebies. If it looks even remotely interesting, I will grab it but I am not in any rush to read any of them. I mean they are taking up space or anything so why not 🙂
Tough Customer is excellent, I loved this one by Sandra Brown, I read it last summer but never did a review. You got some nice looking ebooks!! And,I have Into the Dim on my TBR pile!! Great week for you!!
I had a good one also;http://thebestbasicblogger.blogspot.com/2016/01/stacking-shelves-5.html
I love Sandra Brown. I grab her books to add to my kindle account as I see them on sale. I love Outlander so I had to grab Into the Dim. I hope it lives up to the hype.
I'm looking forward to the new Patricia Briggs book when it comes out in paperback! I do love that series. Hope you get some some fun reading done this week!
I am at the mid point of the book and it is really good, Chuckles! It is such a good series. I hope I can fit in a few books this week!
Great haul! I grabbed Into The Dim also this week. Looking forward to your reviews for these. Happy Saturday!
I am really excited about all of my ARCs this week. Into the Dim sounds really good. I hope that it lives up to all of the hype. I am a little nervous about it because of all the comparisons to Outlander. I just love that book and it will take a lot to come anywhere close to it.
Enjoy your new books…I enjoy Sandra Brown and Lisa Gardner, so I'm off to check for those books. Have a great week, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
I do love Sandra Brown. I try to add her books to my kindle account as they go on sale. I haven't read Lisa Gardner before but I couldn't resist this audible freebie.
This week got a little out of control for me as well and I've got a few books on their way and a few requests pending so next week won't be any better! You got some great books! I haven't read Sandra Brown or Lisa Gardner for some reason but I do want to try them. Enjoy your new reads!
I have a few requests pending but I have a feeling that they are books that I won't get. It always makes me sad when publishers say no even though I have a mountain of books to read! I am thrilled with this week's haul! You really should try Sandra Brown. I think she is an excellent writer. I met her at a book signing and she is also one of the nicest ladies you will meet.
Great haul, Carole! I can't wait to see what you think of Hawke 🙂 Happy reading!
Danielle @ Life With Two Boys
I really hope to get to that one soon! I love that series!
Got me curious with Hawke. Enjoy your haul 😉
I can't wait to read that one. It seems to be a popular pick this week.
Holy Wow. You are amazing you know that! Love your haul and it seems that Hawke is trending on the blogosphere recently. Looking forward to hear your thoughts on that. Happy Reading Carole! 😉
Thanks, Natasha Anne! I noticed that Hawke was on a lot of lists this week. I can't wait to get a chance to read it.
What a great haul you have!!! I really like Sawyer Bennett….her books always surprise me in how much I end up liking them. I like Theresa Romain and that cover is so gorgeous, I love that tone of pink. Hope you enjoy Patricia Briggs….i do need to try her out soon.
I have really enjoyed all of the Sawyer Bennett books that I have read. I agree completely about that cover. I hope to get to that one soon since it is just a novella and should be a quick read. I finished the Patricia Briggs book yesterday and loved it. I will have my review posted closer to the publication date.
I love that dog on Lottery Boy. I hate to say I will probably pick it up based on the dog, but hey, it is what it is. The story sounds good as well. I adore Patricia Briggs and the covers just get better and better. Enjoy all your books!
I do things like that Barb! I can't tell you how many books have been added to my shelves just because of the cover. I do think that the Briggs covers are just wonderful and this newest one may be my favorite. I can't wait to read Lottery Boy. I was excited to actually win something!
LOL I had that same issue today when going through emails. I accepted some for review then sat back and when oh my gosh. What have I done?! I was supposed to be good! lol But we'll be better next week, right? lol
I do really good at using some judgement on adding books and than I will have a day or two that I act like a mad woman adding all kinds of crazy stuff that I will need a month to finish. So far so good this week. 🙂
Your willpower may have been weak but you got some great books!
I would have to agree with you! I was very happy with NetGalley for all the approvals.
