This was a much better week. I didn’t have too many extra things to try to squeeze into my schedule. I did have an eye appointment and ordered a new pair of glasses and contacts. On Friday night, my daughter performed in her school’s variety show with her jazz ensemble. Other than that, it was my normal schedule of work, household chores, blogging and reading.

I always enjoy Sawyer Bennett’s Cold Fury Hockey series so I downloaded Marek as soon as I saw it listed on NetGalley. I have been saying how I to read Melissa Foster’s work so I am eager to listen to one of her books written under the name Addison Cole.

I added these beauties to my collection this week because I am planning to attend the book signing for Obsidio tonight. I cannot wait!

I was so excited to see Marek on NG, and JUMPED on it. I was even more excited to get immediately approved. I think his story is going to be fabulous. The last book had me wanting it right away. I hope you have fun at the Obsidio event. Kaufman and Kristoff were as funny and charming as I had hoped. I laughed so much!
I am auto-approved for Loveswept so I downloaded Marek right away. For some reason, Reed, was always hidden from me so I couldn't get a copy of the last book in the series. The Obsidio event was a whole lot of fun!

Have fun at the signing! I read Illuminae last month, and while I didn't love it, I still thought it was good. I think I'll buy the whole series in paperback at a later date. They're too heavy as hardcovers.
I really enjoyed Illuminae but haven't read the other two yet. I have heard that the audiobooks for this series are amazing so I think I am going to grab those to listen to soon.

I don't really like going either. It is expensive and takes forever. My eyes have really been bothering me so it was time. How I wish I had my younger eyes back!

I was really excited to get my hands on Marek especially since I wasn't ever able to get a copy of Reed.
Yeah for book signings! I got Obsidio on release day, but will be waiting to devour it after Take Control. Glad this was a good week with a nice surprise from Grand Publishing.
I am not sure when I will get to Obsidio but I am happy that it is here waiting for me. I might grab the audios for the series.
Carolyn Brown and Sawyer Bennett are always great authors to grab up. Hope you enjoy them.
