Here are just a few books that have just been released that you may want to grab soon:
Sophie Marren is pretty much penniless after leaving her abusive husband. She doesn’t have the money to pay rent or the slip fees for docking the boat where she’s been sleeping. She was getting along just perfectly until the good-looking, brooding, I’m-too-sexy-for-myself guy moves into the lake cabin that the slip belongs to. Sure he’s hot as the noon sun with those dark lens and even darker ‘tude, but god forbid she tie herself to another man who’s always telling her what to do. But the more she gets to know Jacob, the more she sees how willing he is to battle for her wounded heart…a battle she might just let him win.
ARRESTED BY LOVE
Vincent Moretti is one of the NYPD’s top homicide detectives-and one of the most eligible bachelors in town. His family, however, thinks he should date his longtime partner, Jill-a sassy, sexy, smart-mouthed blonde who drives him absolutely crazy.
Behind the quiet authority, tough-guy demeanor, and dark aviator glasses lies a man with a big soul-and a hard body that can soften any girl’s heart. After years as his coworker, Jill Henley has given up hope that anything could happen between her and Vin. Besides, loving him would break all the rules. But seeing Jill with someone else triggers feelings in Vincent he never knew he had. Now he’ll have to stop playing good cop/bad cop-and find a way to convince her to be his partner for life. . .
No one would ever accuse Jace Berisha of having an easy life—considering her husband…you know…killed her. But that was then! Now she fights for mighty Viking gods with the spectacular and vicious Crows.
But things are turning very bad, very quickly because a vengeful, ancient goddess has come into the world with just one thing on her mind—ending it. And the only way they can hope to stop her is if the Crows join forces with their one-time enemies, the Protectors. A Viking Clan created to do nothing but kill every Crow they see.
Thankfully, Protector Ski Eriksen is a peace loving kind of guy. Because the woman he is desperately trying to get close to is the beautiful and not-very-chatty Jace. Battling Nordic clans? Unkillable goddesses? Jace’s mean-spirited dog? None of these things would ever get in the way of a true Viking!
One moment of recklessness will change their worlds.
Smart. Responsible. That’s seventeen-year-old Breanna’s role in her large family, and heaven forbid she put a toe out of line. Until one night of shockingly un-Breanna-like behavior puts her into a vicious cyber-bully’s line of fire—and brings fellow senior Thomas “Razor” Turner into her life.
Razor lives for the Reign of Terror motorcycle club, and good girls like Breanna just don’t belong. But when he learns she’s being blackmailed over a compromising picture of the two of them—a picture that turns one unexpected and beautiful moment into ugliness—he knows it’s time to step outside the rules.
And so they make a pact: he’ll help her track down her blackmailer, and in return she’ll help him seek answers to the mystery that’s haunted him—one that not even his club brothers have been willing to discuss. But the more time they spend together, the more their feelings grow. And suddenly they’re both walking the edge of discovering who they really are, what they want, and where they’re going from here.
There are some sequels out that I want to get to at some point but still have to read the ones before it first. Also want to pick up a Jill Shalvis soon. Thanks for sharing!
There are a lot of sequels this week, Grace! I didn't even realize it until you said something.
Very ready to read Walk the Edge! Also, The Winner's Kiss released today, so I'm probably gonna get it before the week is out.
I still need to read The Winner's Curse but I bought it a couple of weeks ago so I am ready for it.
Oh I need Walk the Edge. Like, now. Lol.
I need to read the first one in that series but I do love her writing.
I loved the Jill Shalvis and I've been told I absolutely have to read Lauren Layne. This week is not great for the TBR!
Jill Shalvis and Lauren Layne are both great. Most weeks are bad for my TBR pile 🙂
Have my sights on the new Shalvis and McGarry, but I need to check out that Dark Energy.
I liked the looks of Dark Energy as well, Sophia!
I got my first Shalvis book this week. I still want to read the Half Magic series. Someone from the publisher had said they were sending me a copy of the first one and asking me to do a promo for this last one, but I never got the copy, so just didn't get started. Thanks for sharing!
I really want to read the Half Magic series as well. I hope your book shows up soon!
So many awesome releases that are already on my TBR! If only I could find the time to actually sit down and read them 😉
You and me both Danielle! I really want to read more but my life just doesn't allow it.
I can't wait to read Walk the Edge! And Jill Shalvis is amazing, I hope you'll be able to read Nobody but You very soon 🙂
