January 2018
How is it already the end of January? This was a quiet, cold month for me. The weather has been all over the place but there were some days in January that chilled me to the bone. I have tried to stay home as much as possible during the month. At the beginning of the month, I went to my daughter’s All Suburban Honor Band concert which was nice. We ended the month by moving some furniture around in the house and trying to get things cleaned up a bit.
I am linking this post to the Monthly Wrap-Up at Feed Your Fiction Addiction.

How was your month? Do you have any reading or blogging goals for February?
yay! many things!
It was a busy month on the blog!
Yes the weather was pretty weird here too but man when it was cold it was cold!! Looks like a great reading month!! I have heard good things about Next Year in Havana. Hope you have a wonderful February!
Next Year in Havana should be my next read. I have heard great things about it so I am excited.
I can't believe it's the end of January! One part of me feels like this month flew by while the other feels like it moved at turtle speed. Your Netgalley ratio is so good! Every time I start getting mine up I get approved for more books lol I loved Next Year in Havana so I hope you love it too! π
I have over 100 books to read for NetGalley so I have a lot of work to do. I would like to get it down to a much more reasonable level this year.
I think you post more reviews in a month than I do in three! Wow!
My daughter's schedule has been pretty calm so I fit in a few extra books. I do listen to audiobooks at work which really helps my totals.
I think overall your stats for the month are looking pretty good Carole and you're ahead of me on reviews! I'm pleased with my month and looking forward to more reading tonight!
I am pretty pleased with my stats for January. I do seem to be writing a ton of reviews lately!
Yes, the weather has been something else. We even had thunder snow a few nights around here. π
You did great on the reading and blogging side of things and neat that you get to see your daughter doing her music. π
Hope you have a great February, Carole!
Thunder snow! I crack up everything the local weather man talks about thunder snow. Thankfully, we have been lucky in regards to snow.
Thanks, Sophia Rose!
You've had a great month and look at you kicking those reviews out. Two Girls Down and Into the Black Nowhere were definitely strong reads this month. Didn't you review The Chalk Man this month or am I dreaming? I thought we had that one in common too!
I read The Chalk Man in November and reviewed it in December. Of course, I somehow forgot to wrap up my December but oh well.
January was so cold! It was horrible. It looks like you got a lot of reading done, though. Have a great February!
Aj @ Read All The Things!
It would be super cold and then 60 a few days later. I don't even know what to do with myself!
You had a great month of reading! It alone would've taken me the entire month of January π
I actually listened to IT in December and it did take a while.
You've reviewed so many great books this month and looks like you have so many coming up! I think almost all of them are on my TBR – especially the Lisa Kleypas. I'm mad at myself for not having read her latest series yet.
I am really behind with Kleypas but I am super excited to read her upcoming novel. She is an author that I have loved for a long time.
Looks like this month has been pretty good for you. I hope February is just as great.
Thanks, Abby!
You had a great reading month! Nice job! I have been seeing so many raves for the new Cleeton novel. I loved her Wild Aces books, and really want to check out her new series. Do you know I have never read a Kleypas book. And I call myself a romance reader! Cannot wait to read your reviews.
You must read Kleypas! I love, love, love her writing!
January has been SO cold! Ugh. I still need to read The Wife Between Us and Still house Lake. they both look like great thrillers.
I really liked Stillhouse Lake but The Wife Between Us was not for me at all. I am so ready for all of this cold to just go away!
Whoa! 18 books! That's quite impressive! It was a bit chilly in January for us too. Let's hope we both have a wonderful spring!

Well 9 of those 18 were audiobooks so I was able to multi-task. I am so ready to move past all the cold.
You had a great month. I managed 29 books mostly audio but I was bedridden. You read some awesome books too, I loved Caine's audio and the Lost Plot, of course Jill Shalvis too.
29 books is amazing, Kimberly, especially since you were sick for the whole month. I did have some really good books to read this month which probably helped me keep the momentum going.
January weather wise was pretty warm here for the winter. And yet we also had a bit of snow at the start of the month. So weird. Sounds like you mostly had a good reading month. π
It was a weird January weather wise. I feel like I had a good reading month.
Wow, you read loads of books! Congrats π hope next month you manage to read more from your Shame stack π maybe you should join my meme State of the ARC? Last year's blogger shame challenge was pretty much why I started it xD
I should start getting to the shame pile in the next couple of months. I knew at the start of the year that I had too many arcs for January and February to work on the backlist.
You read so many books! The weather here has been so weird. One minute it is 77 ( like today) and then it is 44 the next couple days. I love your reading stats and I may have to use that next month in my wrap (with credit of course!). I keep seeing Next Year In Havana around and it sounds so good. I cannot wait to read it. I hope February is an amazing month for you!

Feel free to use my stats layout. I am reading Next Year in Havana right now and am loving it.
A quiet month sounds so nice. It looks like you had a great reading month in January, Carole. I want to read so many of the books you read. I hope to get to The Lost Plot this month. It may not have won my TBR poll, but I am determined to read it. I miss Irene and Kai. I hope you have a great week! Here's to a great February!
I tend to do a little better with my numbers in the winter. It is the summer and fall that everything slows way down. The Lost Plot is a great book!
Wow, you got a lot of reading done! π

It was a pretty good reading month for me.
Honors Band was amazing to listen to when my daughter participated. Talented musicians at such a young age. I see you have books scheduled for Feb that I am hoping to get my hands on too.
It is so amazing to hear how talented these kids really are.
