May 2022
May was kind of busy. My daughter came home from college during the first part of the month. We love having her home but it does take some time to adjust to having another person in the house. We bought a truck even though we really were not looking for a vehicle. We also had a mini-split unit installed in our garage so my husband can have air conditioning when he is working in the garage.
Most of the month was spent on the endless cycle of work, housework, dog walks, yard work, laundry, making dinner, and other equally glamourous tasks. I feel like my reading has been way down this month even though the numbers indicate it was a pretty average reading month for me. The bulk of my reading was through audiobooks. I didn’t focus on Instagram nearly as much this month and am ending this month basically where I was last month with 3,257 followers.

How was your month? Do you have any reading or blogging goals for June?
Congrats on the new truck! You read way more than I did last month. I’m also caught in the cycle of work and boring household tasks. Maybe we’ll both have more time for reading in June. 🙂
What a great month it looks like you have had there Carole. I really love that you read so many goodies. I do like bookstagram, I am not as active as I would like to be. But there are so many platforms these days haha I love that Chanel Cleeton was a win for you!
I think you did awesome. A month of regular life is a good thing. It means you didn’t have emergencies or repairs or medical scares or other problems.
Nice reading month overall! I do want to read Shara Wheeler. Congrats on the truck. 🙂

Sounds like a great month reading and otherwise. I love the idea of an AC in the garage. My husband would love that! I hope you have a happy June!
You do lead a glamorous life (just like me). HA! That’s pretty awesome that your husband can have air conditioning while working the garage. My dad would have loved that. Your Instagram is getting huge there. Congratulations!
My reading was actually up quite a bit in May but that was because 1) I was on vacation for a week, and 2) I was readying a lot of short books on KU. That’s one way to boost those numbers. LOL
LOL, yes, glamorous tasks for me too. Glad your reading level was where you need it to be.
