May 2023 Wrap Up

May 2023

May was quite the month.  My daughter graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education.  My husband and I flew to Detroit to visit family for a few days. We ended the month celebrating my niece and nephew’s 9th birthday.  I also spent most of the month dealing with Shingles which made things a little less fun.

We are starting June out with my dog, Stella’s, second ACL surgery so I suspect that this may be a much quieter month.

I am still working on growing my Instagram account and finished the month with 5,124 followers (This stat is for my own records).

I am linking this post to the Monthly Wrap-Up at Feed Your Fiction Addiction.

  1. I can only imagine how shingles could ruin your month, but I am glad you had some bright spots in there. Congratulations to your daughter! I hope the pup is doing well, and I am looking forward to your thoughts on Gaynor’s books.

  2. Congrats to your daughter for earning her degree and yay that you got in a trip.

Way to go on the reading pile and adding to your Instagram followers.

Have a great month of June, Carole!

  3. Shingles does not sound fun! Hope you’re feeling better, Carole. You still managed to get a lot read all considered. I’m looking forward to Magic Claims! It’s preordered. Can’t remember if it came out this week or not. I haven’t been feeling good so every thing is a bit fuzzy.

  4. Congrats to your daughter, and hope your June is off to a nice start. I hope the surgery goes smoothly as well.

    Love that cover of Celebrants.

  5. You did have a busy May! I hope you are feeling better and that Stella’s 2nd surgery goes as smoothly as her first. You have some great books coming up next! I’m so curious about the Ali Hazelwood and the Hazel Gaynor. Happy June!
