Stacking the Shelves #110

I am really excited to participate in Stacking the Shelves, a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and Reading Reality.

My Life

I need to stop and take a breath after this week.  I am completely worn out.  Last Saturday, I was going non-stop all day long.  I did get to play with my niece and nephew and my daughter found her prom dress on that day so I feel like I got some things accomplished.  My daughter had a jazz performance on Wednesday and it was my turn to take her to practice on Thursday so both of those days were completely booked.  I don’t know how some people balance a busy schedule on a regular basis because just a couple of days of completely packed days left me exhausted.

I am still working to catch up with comments from the days that I wasn’t able to get around to everyone.  I do appreciate everyone’s comments and hope to be caught up soon.

Books for Review

I Have Lost My Way by Gayle Forman (Bookish First)

I have actually never read a Gayle Forman book before but I have heard great things about her work.  I had enough points to claim a copy when it was on offer from Bookish First a couple of weeks ago.  I am really looking forward to reading this one very soon.

What books do you add to your shelves this week?
Let me know in the comments and be sure to leave a link to your own STS post!

  1. Ooh, exhausting weeks are the worst! Hang in there…

I am curious about I Have Lost My Way…Gayle Forman is a relatively new author that I am loving.

In your sidebar, I'm drawn to Sometimes I Lie.

Enjoy your week, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

  2. Wow! You found the dress pretty quickly. That's awesome! It's been so long since I had full-time moming to do, but I remember it being quite tiring. I love Gayle Forman. I am very excited to see that this book is coming up soon on my spreadsheet. I hope you enjoy it.

  3. I hope you have a great weekend and get a chance to relax! Life gets too busy sometimes. Hope the Gayle Forman book turns out well!

  4. Yes, just a few days that are jam packed and I'm begging for mercy. Hope you had a quieter weekend. I've heard good things about Gayle Forman books, too, but not read one. Hope you like it.

  5. I hate when my days are packed, especially on weekends. I'd much rather have one or two little things to do on a Saturday than an entire day's worth of stuff. Also, be prepared, Gayle Foreman books tend to make readers cry. 😉

  6. Does sound exhausting. I hope you're taking time to relax for a bit so you can recharge. Yay for finding a prom dress! That's exhausting in and of itself. I've heard good things about Gayle Forman too so I'm looking forward to seeing your thoughts. Have a great week!

  7. Hope you get a chance to slow down soon. I've not read Gayle Forman either so you are certainly not the only one.

  8. I know what you mean! Busy days and a packed schedule can be so exhausting and I am not sure how some people keep so busy all the days of the year all the time. I hope you get to have a bit of a breather next week. I haven't read a Gayle Foreman novel before either.
