February Wrap Up

Posted March 1, 2021 by Carole in Monthly Wrap-Up / 12 Comments

February 2021
I feel like February went by in a blur.  We had some frigid weather and a lot of snow that didn’t seem like it would ever end, but it eventually did.  I ended up getting a couple of days off work due to the weather which helped me get a bit of extra reading in.
We were able to have our shed installed this month and we are already enjoying the extra room we now have in our garage.
I kept my 6-year-old niece and nephew (they’re twins) for a sleepover one night during the month which was exhausting but fun.
I really put a lot of effort into Instagram this month, really this whole year.  I am trying really hard to grow my audience on that platform and really enjoy the process of creating appealing photos (at least I hope that they are appealing).  I am entering March with 723 followers and can’t wait to see where the month takes me.

I am linking this post to the Monthly Wrap-Up at Feed Your Fiction Addiction.

  1. Congrats on all your Instagram followers. I've never been on Instagram, although I admire the features other bloggers show us.

Enjoy that shed and your week of reading.

I am curious about Melissa Foster, and have not yet read her. I haven't read Harlan Coben in ages!

    Have a great week.

  2. My February was similar with all the severe weather, but March is starting mild for me. Glad you got a few snow days off, your new shed to create the space, and time with the twins. Look like you got a good stack of books read/listened to. Congrats on the Instagram followership. I'll have to make sure I'm following, too. I like instagram, but haven't gotten consistent yet.

  3. Ugh. I haven't done Instagram but I'm glad it's going well for you. You read some great books during February. You are doing well on your challenges too.

  4. I love browsing Bookstagram but I feel so uncreative when I consider taking my own book photos. I just stick with enjoying others on my feed. 🙂 I'm so excited to read those Moo U spin-offs!

  5. The sleepover sounds fun and exhausting! I've been loving your content on instagram. I just learned about presets and it's pretty fun!

I agree that February sure flew by! Your pictures on Instagram are always so amazing to see. I'm a big fan of Coben, as well. Happy March and huge hugs, RO

  7. Good luck with your Instagram. I've been trying to grow mine steadily but surely too. I do have fun with the photos though, so it's enjoyable at least. That's the main thing, right? I don't have a ton of reading goals this month – read as many books that begin with E and F as I can for my Read the Alphabet challenge. OH! And I need to get an Agatha Christie book to read.
