December 2023 Wrap Up

December 2023

December was such a busy month.  It was fun but I have to admit that I am glad that it is over.  I was so incredibly busy that it took a toll on me both physically and mentally.  We had several family gatherings to celebrate the holiday and my younger daughter came to visit for a week.  I worked my regular full-time job and then worked about 25 hours per week at my part-time job.  I probably shouldn’t have been surprised to end the month feeling a little sick.  I think that I was more worn down than anything else.

I am still doing my best with Instagram.  I am posting less often than I would like but still having fun with it.  I am ending the month with 6,371 followers (I post this stat for myself to track my growth).

  1. You are a powerhouse, Carole. Working all those hours and still able to get a bunch books read. Wow! My daughter wants to read the Hazelwood book. I am seeing great buzz for it. I adored The Bright Spot. I hope you do too!

  2. Yeah, December is a rough month on my husband when he works the UPS holiday hours so I get exactly what you feel like when its over. Glad you enjoyed your daughter’s visit and had some fun family gatherings. Hopefully, January will be slightly restful. Nice reading numbers.

    Have a good month, Carole!

  3. December is always such a busy month, isn’t it? It looks like you were able to fit in some great reading though! I hope you have a great January, Carole!

  4. I ended December feeling exhausted and I don’t have nearly as much going on as you do! I’m curious about the Ali Hazelwood. I’ve enjoyed what I’ve read by her and really want to read more. Hope you’re having a great start to January!
