October 2023 Wrap Up

October 2023

It is hard to believe that it is already November!  This was a routine month.  I worked my full-time job Monday through Friday during the daytime hours and worked 3 shifts per week at Barnes & Noble.  I am spending a lot more time in the car than I did before I took on the second job.

I did recognize a need to take some time for myself and started working some puzzle time into my routine.  I just can’t spend the time that I have at home only doing chores and staring at a computer.

I am doing my best with Instagram.  I am posting less often than I would like but I am still having fun with it.  I am ending the month with 6,174 followers (I post this start for myself to track my growth).

I am linking this post to the Monthly Wrap-Up at Feed Your Fiction Addiction.

  1. Glad you worked in some time for yourself to recharge. I love doing puzzles, too. Wow, you finished a lot of books considering your schedule. Have a great November, Carole!

  2. I tried getting into Instagram and just couldn’t get into it. I still post the random picture there every once in a while but not often.

  3. OMG… I’m about 2/3 done with A Curse of Krakens. I love this series so much and am really enjoying the final book. I hope you do, too. I’ve also got a long one from Jim Butcher for November – lots of fantasy this month!

  4. Wow, that’s a lot of reading for October! I hope you have an enjoyable selection of books in November, too. And cheers to taking some time for yourself as well! That’s hugely important.

  5. Oh I’m so glad you’re taking sometime for yourself. Puzzles are such a good way to recharge. You talked me into adding The September House to my TBR with your review. It looks really good! Happy November!
