Why did I add Awakened to my bookshelf?
I really enjoyed this first book in this series, Sheltered, when I listened to it a couple of years ago. I thought that it was a really well done taken on the zombie genre. I picked up a copy of this ebook in January 2022 and it is rather short so there is really no good reason why I haven’t picked it up yet. I have kind of been in the mood for a zombie story so hopefully, I can work this one in soon.
What are your thoughts? Have you read this book? Would you recommend it?
That’s a new to me one! Zombie books were always a little hit or miss for me. I guess because they tend to be in apocalyptic stories I don’t like reading those. Too scary! Lol. Hope you’re able to get to this one soon!
Being such a short book it should be easy to fit in. I do enjoy zombie books too so I look forward to your thoughts!

I can definitely see how a story dealing with zombies you would need to be in the mood for. It definitely has a certain atmosphere to it that you can’t just randomly pick up at any time lol Hope you enjoy it when you pick it up.
I’m so bad about reading the 2nd book in a series when I’ve really enjoyed the 1st book. Not sure what that’s about but I do it all the time! I hope you enjoy it!
